Stonework

Edinburgh is one of the few cities in the UK which boasts such a rich stock of architectural stonework to it's outstanding buildings which are found predominantly in the Old and New Town's, as well as within city centre tenements and shopping districts.

This stonework requires periodic maintenance and in many cases replacement to preserve the cities most valued estates for future generations. Negligence on these points has unfortunately lead to many controversial injuries and, in at least one case, even fatality from falling stone and debris etc.

We would urge owners or otherwise to take advantage of our free quotation service and request a quote to ascertain the costs and specs available in their particular cases if heavily decayed stone, or required maintenance is identified or suspected.

We carry out every aspect of stonework from lime rendering to mullion, cill or lintel replacement through to dry stone walling and rubble or ashlar builds.
